Making an active ragdoll like Wobbly life or Human Fall Flat

Hey, I would like to start making a game for my little brother in the style of his favorite sandbox game Wobbly life. I am pretty new to unreal but I think I will be able to do something. The thing that scares me the most is the active ragdoll of the player. What makes those games so fun is mostly the goofy physics. I have no idea how would i go about making something like that and I didn’t find any real tutorials or documentations. I do know a little bit of Unity and I found a series that covers it there.

Should i switch to Unity for this project or should I try to replicate the stuff from the tutorial? I don’t need whole tutorials I just need a kick in the right direction.

You may want to take a look at physical animation to accomplish what you described.
