Making a Heavy Rain - styled - Dynamic Camera.

Hey guys, I’m trying to make a camera system that is cinematic like the Quantic Dreams’s Heavy Rain where its used during gameplay instead of a cutscene. My question is: How do I go on about that? Do i take the trigger Volume approach or do I use splines? or What? I really want to work on the demo for this game on the unreal engine but Unity came out with a plugin called Cinemachine which completely solves programming the dynamic camera system from scratch. Can anyone provide me with some help? at least? Thank you!
