MakeFloat nodes replacement?

I’ve dug around briefly online for this MakeFloatX node, following a tutorial, and it doesn’t seem to exist anymore. I’ve seen closed forum posts about it with a workaround that doesn’t work either, due to material functions not existing anymore either.

But messing around a little I discovered this AppendMany node that seems to do exactly what I need. It seems to be the MakeFloat2, 3 and 4 all in one. If this node is a red flag, please lemme know, otherwise if this node is the replacement I think it is, then at least I can share this finding with everyone.

To make a param/expression with 2, 3, or 4 floats in it, just use vectors. Holding 1 and clicking mat graph makes a single float, holding 2, 3, or 4 and clicking makes vectors with 2/3/4 channels.Or you can right click and look for Constant2/3/4Vector nodes to make.
