As I see a lot of you making videos for your games, I’d like to ask what’s the best way? Record while playing in the editor in full screen, making a matinee? What’s best for presenting your game?
As for the matinee, can you retrieve the file you made? If yes, where? On the saved folder, I do not seem to have it whenever I make a matinee video.

Are you talking about making a video for inside the game or making a video of your game while you play it?

Yeah, that is matinee. Matinee is useful when wanting to create cinematic videos.
Where do I get the matinee file? Where it’s located, because when I make a matinee video, I cannot see it’s file anywhere

I can recommend nvidia shadowplay for capturing. We used it to capture stuff for our greenlight trailer. Maybe it’s a good showcase to see how good the video quality can be with shadowplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdzaBQkzx6E

I use Open Broadcaster. Haven’t tried Shadowplay … but I plan on trying it when I get some free time.
