Make Rain Particles Attach to Player Only

I was going to go about trying to attach a particle system (Rain) to my Player Character using a socket but that would put it on every character in the game since they’re all using the same skeleton… How can I do this the proper way?

Add a particle system component to the player pawn?

[Easy option] Could this be achieved with a collision component on the emitter? would be best performance-wise to disable the emitter with a collision volume if going ‘inside’
