I’d like to work on some casual side projects with people and I was thinking of a format.
Would anyone else like to work on simple projects as a large community effort?
The concept would be that we would vote on a project that can be developed in a 1 month timeframe.
After voting is concluded the project is created in a public repository and anyone can download the progress and contribute.
There would need to be administrators to handle aspect like merging the project contributions, but I think this would be a good opportunity to develop educational material, as well as for community members to show off and have fun.
Could be anything from fun 2d games, AI experiments, graphic showcases.

I think it’d would be fun to be involved in, anyone else think they would enjoy something like this?
