Hi , I 'm doing a side scroller game through the third person blueprint template, so the scenario is deeper , as in Trine 3. What do I need to know is how to make the camera follow the character only in the x axis , not when he jump or when to go to the map background , only on the x axis, again using Trine 3 as example?
did you ever get this figured out? because I’m also in the same boat. I’d like it so that the camera didn’t jump with my character - and is locked in X axis
