Major lag with any attached components in a Blueprint?

I’ve noticed a 20-30% frame drop on my AI when their Blueprints have a few components attached to sockets on the mesh, this is already done in the viewport and not attached during runtime. Can confirm this is with collision entirely off on the components, and hiding the attachments completely does seem to solve it.

Is this really normal, and is there a way around this?

It depens on many aspects like your hardware and components being attached
Also consider making objects static rather than stationary or movable to save performance when possible .
