Magnetic Hovering Physics on Hover Craft?

Hello all.

I’m trying to make a hovering vehicle that hovers just above the surface of the ground where at any point in space the craft will always be a certain distance from the surface of the ground / track with a little leeway for buoyancy / bounciness. One idea I had was to have a tubular track where the craft would hover above the surface of the inside of the tube and remain a certain distance between the surface and the center of the tube. Something like This:

So far I have been playing around with hover components similar to in the Unreal Tutorial by Zak Parrish Adding a Hover Component | Live Training | Unreal Engine - YouTube and [Unreal Engine 4.7+] Hover Vehicle Blueprint Tutorial - YouTube and looking around at posts and threads on similar topics.

Here is the Blueprint from my hover component and a short example of the ship:

So any ideas on ways to go about doing this, things to look into and research or any help you can give is much appreciated, anything to get me started cheers.

Here is how the craft works atm:

did you ever find a solution to this?
necro bumping to try to come up with an answer

Hey, not specifically, I moved on to other projects but I have learned a lot since then so might be able to help you with this after the mega jam ends.
