Made a Cinematic inspired by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Inspired by Clair Obscur Expedition 33. This is a shader/material demonstration, but I wanted to make it as cinematic and artistic as possible. All of the shaders and materials are custom made and done Inside Unreal. No external software is used besides Premiere Pro to stitch the clips together. The subject is a Metahuman with modified materials. And I am using the Unreal Engine 5.6’s new live link for facial animation.
I was inspired by Clair Obscur Expedition 33, especially the gommage. However, I wanted to add my own twist to it. Since Clair Obscu or Chiaroscuro is a painting style, I wanted to mimic that. The concept behind it is that the woman is made up of paint. Where the outer layer is the paint, her inner layer represents the canvas. The outer layer exfoliates, and the inner layer tears apart. The other motifs were the leaves and the surrounding plants. When she starts to disintegrate, we begin to see leaf particles similar to the petals in Expedition 33. The leaves also begin to appear on her skin as she starts to disintegrate. When she is in the canvas form, I wanted to make her nerves look like branches. I wanted to tie that to her surroundings.
The music is by a French-Norwegian metal band called Mirar. I am using the outro from their track Night Prayers composed by Léo Watremez.
