I’m running on Macbook Pro Version 12.3.1 M1 Pro Chip with Unreal Engine 5.0.1.
It wouldn’t continue loading at 34%. I’ve installed the latest Xcode in Appstore.
I’m running into the same problem. Please let me know how you fix it.
please waiting hhhh
“compling shaders” is so slow
ps:the number in “()” means there are 2967 shaders to compile
if you can notice the number can be declined, it will be ok!
yes compiling take long
warning before you try stuff … this is what i do …while i done this for a long time i have no idea if it burns down your cpu or gpu or anything else… do it at your own risk)
dunno why but the affinity if the compile is set “below normal” and i change them all to above normal or real time… it goes way faster but it slowes anything else a lot on real time
but the time you have to wait it much shorter.
in the taskmanager > details when EU5 is compiling shaders you will see multible eu shader compilers running (1 per core i think) and mine apears alway as "below normal and i set them to high or real time and it reduces the compile time a lot tho it slows down the rest of the computer, but it is worth it for me it saves alot of time .
any more info from the devs would be nice if doing this is ok and or if we can set affinity to high by default?
