Hi,
I have a game I built in Unreal Engine 5.4 on Windows. Next, I would like to build it for iOS and Mac. I’ve seen instructions for how to set things up for UE 4.27 to use Windows and a remote Mac setup to create an iOS build (Advanced iOS PC/Mac Workflow | Unreal Engine 4.27 Documentation | Epic Developer Community).
I wondered if there is an updated process for UE 5.4 and what I should consider in terms of minimum requirements for a MAC that can build the game. Would a Mac M2 Mini with 16GB of ram be sufficient? I don’t know whether I need to be able to run full blown Unreal Engine on this Mac for this process to work. Of course the specs of the game itself are kept lower to allow it to run on an iPad, but my question is specifically for being able to build the game for Mac and iOS. It would be great to keep the PC as the higher end machine and have a cheaper machine just for Mac/iOS builds connected to the PC.
Thank you,
Adnan Hussain
