MAC download URL leads to wrong dmg file

i also meet the same problem, the link is “https://launcher-public-service-prod06.ol.epicgames.com/launcher/api/installer/download/UnrealEngine.dmg”, but when i clicked it i get “EpicGamesLauncher.dmg”.

I am using 10.10.1 OSX, all of safari, chrome, firefox have the same problem

Please advice.

Hi Chris Hao,

I’ve followed this link on our test Mac and it appears to be functioning properly. You wrote, "…when i clicked it i get “EpicGamesLauncher.dmg.” That is what I get as well. When I download it, it successfully installs UE4.

Please let me know where you are accessing the link from and what you are expecting to happen.

Steve, thanks for help. I didn’t describe the my question well, here it is: after i installed “EpicGamesLauncher.dmg”, it didn’t install UE4 automatically until 1 hour later, probably it’s caused by the delayed remote push.

Since it did eventually install and I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my end, I am marking this resolved. If you continue experiencing this issue if you install on another computer or remove and reinstall, let me know and I will examine this further.
