After experiencing long load time with the UE4 editor. Finding it seems to have a low loading from disk to memory (watching task manager) I had had it installed it on a M.2 drive just for the UE4 so just because i could I moved it to my SSD. supposed to be a slower drive on my system and Voilà massive increase in the loading speed of the editor and bp editor. Does UE4 has issues with M.2?
I would have thought it should have used the faster read writes of M.2. Anyone experiencing issues with M.2
M.2 read 2838 mb/s write 1655mb/s iops 260000 write 232177
SSD read 549 mbs writte 527 mb/s iops 79720 write 72150
Thoughts?
