I’m trying to apply a first-person camera to the player. I can’t figure out how Lyra assigns a camera to my playable character, and how to attach it to a bone for true first person setup. My brain start blowout, help please
If you search you tube for ‘UE5 Lyra FPS’ you will find some tutorials that walk you through this step by step.
FPS yes, but not True FPS (
Lyra force camera to flying camera or distance camera on boom, and you even can’t remove lyra camera from pawn. I saw epic showcase how to change camera settings, but this is painful work, long, overcomplicated - like a most of lyra part and in showcase you will not see how make fps camera.
I tried to change lyra camera, but I only lost time, so my solution was disable lyra camera on start, add own camera, attach to pawn etc - standard way to create camera.
In my case this looks like this on pawn
Camera is my camera.
Rest is standard camera setup, you can find a lot of tutorials.
Thanks
i already do solve this problem exactly as you do
Are you adding a Camera to the B_Hero_Default ?
How do you disable the Lyra Camera on start?
Is your Set Active Camera on Begin Play on Event Graph?
Just set not active and your camera active. I’m no more work in Lyra, wasting time.
