Well, they will be released eventually… the first pack should be online in two days, dont know when the rest will be available.
I could also make a seperate package, once I have more toon-effects.

You could pm me a list of the effects you’d like and maybe we can come to an agreement

haha, I love that one… but its **** hard.
Casey is one of my fav. vfx artists as his style is on-par with the kind of effects I like to make.
There is a lot of smoke and mirrors going on in that scene though, there is in fact a hole there, just being covered with a plane that fades out.

I’ll see what I can do, but that wont be a one-day thing.

I have been watching your videos and this thread for a long time now. I also saw your pack on the Marketplace and I told myself that I had to come here to ask you a few things.

(regarding your Particles)

• are they supposed to be used in a game?
• are they optimized?
• have you consider shipping more “thematic” packs? most of the people won’t buy a pack composed of many different artistic style / different game genre (except for learning purpose, but maybe that is what it’s all about here)
• are you imagining your particle inside of a game when designing it? if so, what type of game?

Your work is beautiful but I felt like this was mostly “beauty for the eyes” rather than flat out “FX for games”. Maybe that’s your objective and in that case my questions would be out of the subject.

Anyway, keep up the good work, it is amazing!

Whats the main focus of this package?

I think its best to see it as a small tool-box-like package filled with all kinds of neat little things that will help you make awesome particles.
So yes, there are loads of particle effects available, and you can obviously use them to your liking…
But for me as the creator the main focus is providing you all with interesting content to make your own effects.

Not all the effects might be usable in games, and are only intended as a showcase to show off what can be done with the aforementioned textures, meshes, mat-functions, etc, etc.
Because of that, I cannot promise support on implementing some these particles into your game… but I will do my best.

While I am getting ready to do (at least) another month of this, today’s weather was nice…
So I went:

and created a small effect:

Small effect I made in slightly over 1 hour (with a few small breaks in between because: weekend)
Two textures and vector field are from the free infinity blade assets, vector field is from the particle cave example. (i think)
