Yes, there is a major difference. Unreal is making a profit from forcing us to buy rtx cards. Instead, is a good man, that proves us that gpu lightbaking is something that should have always been a standard feature. It does not require rtx.

Thanks for your answear, mate. But I´m still little confuse. I´ll tell you why. I don´t have a RTX card, I´m still working with a GTX. But I test the native gpu lightmass and It´s seems that it worked. How it´s possbile? I have a GTX 1660.

Can anyone summarize which current LightMass settings (in World Settings) are supported by ?
Also I recall reading somewhere that rect Lights aren’t supported. Is this true?
Any other limitations?
Also can peacefully co exist with native GPU Lightmass?

For HQ bakes would like to use but am using for virtual production and if changes are needed on set wanted to switch to using native GPU because of the speed and realtime feedback!

Hello there! When can we expect a multiple GPU support version? I would pay for that. I still dont get it why Epic didnt embed this GPU lightmass version in the engine instead of the RTX one which I have a hard time using and gives poor results. PLEASE! MULTIPLE GPU.

Certain 10 series cards do support RTX via a driver update. Naturally, it uses the CUDA cores so performance is really poor but it can work. I believe it may only be the 1080 and 1660 cards that support RTX.

I have a problem with a scene that is calculated without any problems until it reaches a block that takes about half an hour. Having an RTX 3090 I’ve never had a problem calculating even lightmass beyond a resolution of 2048, what could be the problem?

How can I change the LightmassConfigurator to work with 4.27? Can’t seem to find a solution. Thanks

Is there any chance that somebody explains how to compile 's GPU Lightmass for the new versions of Unreal so I and many more people can help any time a new version of Unreal comes out?
