Apprecient any help here. I’m trying to setup a clean project for dome projection. This is for a immersive environment so uses ndisplay but no ICVFX cameras.
I’m using the nDisplay template’s settings and default map. The only change I set in PostProcess Volume is setting Scene Trace to be OFF for both GI and reflections. However, Lumen is still producing view dependent results. I’m not entirely sure how lumen has been widely used in all virtual production projects. Is there any specific settings to have it sync across nodes?
Also curious myself!
Unfortunately I have not yet played around with Lumen a lot due to general performance issues on our old-ish hardware, but it’s on my list and I would be very interested in any information as well.
Hi! I was using the nDisplay template from unreal with no other modification than turning off screen trace in the postprocess. Bloom, vignette, motion blur are all at 0 and exposure is set to manual. That’s why it’s a bit confusing for me. With more testing, Lumen is working well in more complex scenes, seams are easier to be spotted with the mesh and material is simple. If it’s just several white cubes in the scene, then the seams will be more visible, especially in shadowed and reflective areas.
