Hey there, pretty new to the forums. We just upgraded our project from 5.0 to 5.1 and our Lumen setups look horrendous now. We tracked the issue down to Lumen no longer propagating light through volumetric fog volumes (comparison screenshots below). It’s easy to reproduce in new and empty 5.1 projects as well.
Basically we used the indirect lighting intensity multiplier in our light sources to make sure volumetric fog picks up a little bit of light in our scenes as well - and that always worked like a charm. But since 5.1 that just doesn’t work anymore. Anybody got any ideas?

Hello, are not the only one in this case, the volumetric fog of my project undergoes the same thing with the version 5.1. While looking for help I realised that there are many of us in this case. If I manage to find a solution I will let you know.

Hey @KevinRoussille. Great to hear from you. I was researching all night yesterday, but didn’t really find anything tangible. I did however submit a bug report with reproduction steps to Epic as well. I used an empty project to illustrate the issue for them (see attached screenshots).
As things are standing our project converted pretty well, no major issues on the coding side, but the level artist can’t do his work like this, that much is sure.
