I thought quite a cool Virtual production scene could be to have a curved LED wall that uses Lumen’s Emissive materials/ GI to get the lighting on the static meshes, and to use as an LED wall style Media plate.
I was thinking of using two planes, one with a super boosted emissive and one with a standard emissive, that way I get the dynamic lighting and the backplate image without it blowing out.
Is there a way to make the front LED screen not cast shadows? If i click this in the BP it still doesn’t work, I guess this might be a Lumen GI setting where even if an object is set to cast shadows false then it still takes it in to account for the GI.
Here’s my blueprint idea with the two LED walls layered to get the lighting and the backplate
Another much simpler solution would be to make an emissive material that has a super boosted emissive but still retains the colour/ doesn’t get blown out. Either solution would be great! Thanks
