Lower Performance In Simulation Than Play

Hello,

Does anyone have any idea why my game does worse in Simulation than Play?

You can see that my Game and Draw are higher in Play (as they should be), but for some reason, Frame is severely bloated. I added the Editor as a control.

GPT and GEMINI mention that it’s the Editor acting up, and not a real indication of actual performance… but… I dunno… I need a human.

To be clear, I pressed “G” to get rid of the excess drawings in simulation mode. It’s even worse when “G” is not pressed.

Okay, so I learned that in Simulation Mode the Slate really takes over. If you right-click on the screen, this overrides that Slate, and the FPS jumps up. Not really sure why. But I did notice that, depending on where you place you mouse at any time in Unreal, the FPS will fluctuate.
