I’m wondering about the maximum mesh resolution of the megascan plants. I downloaded the cat palm in “highest quality”, and the attached screeshot is what it looks like. From a few meters away, it looks fine for a game, but for a close up or for cinema, the leaves are too low-poly. The textures are great in 8K but the leaf mesh clearly shows the polys.
My question is, is this what I should expect for “highest quality”, or am I missing a setting somewhere that reveals higher tesselation? This is not for a game and I’m not concerned about LODs or performance, I’m trying to get the highest quality available to render for film.
