I’m following this tutorial here for modeling mode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GtqvZfuCSY&t=1022s.
When I’m trying to edit poly groups of the hanger, it says my modeling.PolyEdit.EdgeLimit is below the current numebr of edges for the object (it has around 64000 edges). After I increase the limit, I was able to use polyedit tool, but my viewport frame rate drops to around 30 fps during the whole editing process. After I exit polyedit tool my fps went back to 120. The video doesn’t seem to have this frame drop problem at all.
I also noticed that my cpu and gpu are not fully utilized by UE5, it only uses around 35% of the cpu during polyedit. Is there any setting I can change to increase my CPU usage and frame rate for polyedit tool?
