Low FPS rate from large static mesh

I made a massive cliff building by merging and boolean meshing many different quixel bridge rock assets in modeling mode. Whenever I face the asset my FPS drops to about 8 and when i hide the asset it goes up to about 35. Is there any way i can modify the asset to make it stop my fps from dropping? I’ve turned off lumen and have changed many project settings but my project keeps lagging…

Should i try to bake out materials? I’m worried it’s going to ruin it… What options would i choose?


For anyone having the same problem, all I did was enable nanite to the merged static mesh and applied changes and my fps went from 8 to 70… Amazing. ^^;
