Hi
I use Datasmith Live link to Sync Rhino 7 and UE5.
For example I have box like below:
Then I apply material in UE5.
I come back Rhino and hide the box then sync again:
After that I come back Rhino and show the box then Sync again:
You can see they are lost material which is applied in UE5.
How can I solve this big problem?
Note: version UnrealDatasmithRhinoExporter_5_1_1

UE is not processing the hide/show as a hide/show on the actor but removal of the actor in the world ouliner followed by an addition of the element. Therefore the material applied in UE is lost.
I will register it in our backlog.

This is serious issues because sometime we need to hide something in layout then take a photo shot then show again in another shot.
Sometime, we work in Rhino, need to isolate object then forget Show All then Sync. We will lost all materials which are applied in UE5. It will be horror if we work with big project.
Please set it top priority. Thank you

That is not going to come before a few versions as it is low priority.
