Loss of Camera movement once adding a player controller

So I started the third person example c++, and decided to add a player controller to it. So I made one set my game modes playercontrolleclass variable to be my new player controller (after including it in the game modes header files). But once I do that my camera is just fixed in one rotation, just following the third person character.

Does anyone know why this might be the case?

Firs think I can think of … does the new player controller class bind any input functions in SetupInputComponent()?
