Losing motion blur when rendering cinematics

I’m trying to export the matinee fight scene as PNG sequence from the Sequencer. For some strange reason, MB turns on and off. If I render a few frames in the middle of a sequence, it’s ok. When I render the entire thing, I get random results. Any idea?

I found out motion blur will be applied to the final render if you play the game in editor once. Also, I don’t know if it actually makes a difference, but I’ve set my sequence to Auto Play for it to play once in PIE too. So just hit play, wait for it to start playing and stop.

Perhaps PIE creates some required buffers or something that the Movie Render feature requires.
