I was creating a dodge roll during my studies following Coursera, and for some reason, the dodge is continuously going on.
What am I doing wrong here? I don’t know why it’s looping.
(Using UE 5.4.4 here btw.)
If someone can help me here, that’d be greatly appreciated.
Or is the looping caused by a bug in 5.4? Idk, I just followed the course for this precisely and this looping dodge roll is what came out of it.
Did you get this figured out? Check the details in the animation instance for looping and try unchecking that. Or consider creating an animation montage-they are designed with one off actions in mind. I also think there is a do once node you can play with.
Might have to check the animation blendspace, since the course makes use of that. Only thing that sucks is that I can’t talk to them directly, so it’s not like a live-class like Zoom.
Nope, that wasn’t it. I have a feeling that they’re leaving out some things.
