Loopable WAV assets pop at the beginning of each play

Hi All,

First time poster. I am making a car video game and am making loop able engine sounds. They sound fine in Logic (my DAW) with a short fade at the end and start of the wav.

When importing into Unreal 5… they loop but with a clicking / popping sound.

Things I have tried:

As mentioned, fades at the start… both short and long

Chopping 250ms off the end of the loop and adding it to the start to create a more natural loop.

Meta Sound and ASSET both set to ‘Loop’

None of these have worked and I am at a loss. Any help greatly appreciated
