Looks there is no solution for braid hair's physics for now

Hi there,

I’m trying to put the groom assets into my project and there are some braid hair styles for the characters. In the middle of the physics setup for the groom hair I ran into the physics binding issue for the braids.

I went through the hair guide document page and set up one guide curve for the whole braid hair for physics and it looks working but weirldy.

There is only one guide for whole braid hair but the weight (guide influence) is distracted to some where. I think it supposed to be bound to the only guide with weight 1. but along from root to tip, the influence is getting lower and the hair tips are not following the guide completely. Furthermore there is no other options to adjust the influence or the weight.

Is there anyone whe tried to use braid hair with physics? or if there is something that I don’t know about it? Any workarounds?
