Looking to join a team to build cozy games?

Hi everyone!
I’m Max, 32, from London. I’m looking to build a small team of 2–3 passionate people who want to create fun, exciting games and are willing to work to a high standard.

Who I’m Looking For

:small_blue_diamond: World / Level Designer
Someone who can create detailed environments — mainly building interiors or small locations with a lot of detail.

:small_blue_diamond: Coder
Someone to build the main gameplay loop and mechanics.
Examples:

  • Seed shop system

  • Garden mechanics

  • Levelling systems
(Any systems needed for a cozy adventure-style gameplay loop.)

About Me

I’ve been making Fortnite games since Chapter 2 with over 10,000 hours. I currently work independently and see myself as a jack-of-all-trades, but mainly a creative director / visionary.
I’m good at generating ideas and leading a team toward a high-quality finished product.

I do see myself in a leadership role, but I’m very open to ideas — I just want to make sure quality, fun, and scope stay consistent.

Since UEFN launched, I’ve struggled to learn Verse because I learn better through visual and practical methods instead of reading. I hold myself to a high standard and hope to create games that feel like they came from a small indie studio.

My main issue is that working alone slows down development massively, which is why I’m hoping to find people who want to collaborate seriously.

It’s important that anyone interested is willing to work as a team, communicate, and hold themselves to a good standard as well.

Money / Revenue Split

Any money earned will be split fairly between everyone involved, based on time worked and percentage contribution.

I’ve personally made good money in Fortnite, but I’m not interested in creating

  • Red vs Blue

  • Pillars

  • Brain-rot maps

  • Most generic shooters

Instead, I want to make single-player and multiplayer experiences focusing on cozy adventure, survival, and story-driven gameplay — essentially short, complete games with personality and polish.

Thanks again for reading — I can’t wait to meet some of you!

Here are some images of the game I’m currently making just in case anyone wanted to see.
