Looking Glass

For this project we built an Unreal Engine 4 plugin for the Looking Glass 3D display. For this plugin we developed a custom rendering solution in Unreal Engine to present a rendered textures to a uniquely calibrated 3D display. In this plugin we are rendering 45+ frames each tick in order to capture an object from different perspectives. These perspective views are then layered with a custom lenticular shader and presented to an external display which is automatically detected. We also built in custom touch and controller input to receive and process joystick commands received from the Looking Glass device.
