Hello, I am a young and not-so-professional Unreal Engine Developer who lacks experience on making games. I am a huge video game fan and dream of making and publishing professional video games. I hugely adore making games, but don’t have any skill.
I started learning Unreal Engine a few months ago, and started to learn basics of the engine. My only problem was trying to create a small project with all the information I know. I did make a small game that was playable on GameJolt but lacked professionalism. It was clunky, but playable. This started to give me hope, but then I realized something.
It came to my conclusion that I should try and work with a partner or two when it comes to making a professional and working game in Unreal Engine. I feel like it’s the best possible way to learn with someone who has had experience with the engine and hopefully learn, make and publish a game with them.
I am not looking to be paid and/or have my partner to be paid as well. I want a loyal partner who will teach me about developing a game in Unreal Engine 5 and one who is also loyal enough to hopefully stay with me to help develop a full game we could release on steam and split the money after. I know this is kind of a stretch, but if there actually is anyone willing to help and work with me, Please DM me here in Unreal Engine. Again, I am not looking for a paid project or huge revenue sharing. I want to learn and money only gets involved if we make and release a full game where we split the money after.

I’m also looking for a partner. My interests are mainly (but for sure not only) blueprint and landscapes. At this point I only have several very small try-out projects, nothing very fancy yet.
Had a working dedicated server with some replication running as a try out. But that was an older version of UE. Not too difficult to set up a new one with UE5, if needed.
Made a player selection map where player name, gender, color and health are saved and read again. Usable inside a project, including replication. And lots of little other things.
Doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
The workload is simply too big for one person to create a complete and decent product alone. So, until now I didn’t get very far.
Would be nice to have someone just as dedicated as I am to team up with and see what this might bring.
