Looking for skill gain tutorials

Is there any tutorials out there with skill gain? Im looking for wurm/runescape/ultima online. Wanting a good start where i can learn about the old school skill systems and not the typical skill tree you see now days

If I am not mistaken, what you are looking for are your standard experience levels, but instead of one for your character, there is one for each skill. I found this non-Epic affiliated tutorial that seems to be exactly what you are looking for:
