Its a top down, turned based physics game within a space setting. Player plays as the last line of defense against an armada of attacking enemy ships.
SFX and VFX probably dont amount to more than 40 fx for either sound or vfx. Mostly need ship explosions, FTL type movement, EMPs, energy cannons, energy projectiles, bombs, etc.
Music, looking for either a Mass Effect 2/Stranger Things type synth sound or a Total Annihilation orchestral soundtrack. Just enough tracks to keep it from sounding repetitive.
The game is roughly based on a particular game of pool, where the player can gain a second turn if they ram more than one ship. Player must destroy all hostile enemies, either by ramming them or via their abilities.
Here is an older video demonstration.
Please contact me if interested, looking for no nonsense partners to help bring this game home. Looking for a free updates/pay for final delivery scenario. Open to negotiating budgets for vfx, sfx, music separately.
About me: I’m a lead level designer on an UE5 project, I’ve worked on multiple shooters (COD/Halo/Gears), and I attended Guildhall in 2009.
Most are influenced by Japanese video games, except Do You Remember which is influenced by Battlefield’s 1 Flight of Pigeon. Do let me know if you’re interested to work with me. : )
