Your best bet is to start with the ShooterGame example.
It can be downloaded (for free) via the EpicGames Launcher, along with the engine.

Generic Shooter is pretty darn good for the price.
I have a copy.

It doesn’t get much more default than generic, and in that case I would second the idea of Generic Shooter.

However since you want free, and I’m going to assume you also want to learn how this all works I highly suggest building your template yourself with this guide:
