So I’ve been trying to get this sprite to remain facing the direction of the player’s camera so it’s not noticeable that it’s a flat animated image. I’m sure once you see the linked video, you’ll know what kind of effect I’m trying to go for here.
And here is the blueprint that I’ve heavily modified multiple times while following tutorials and other forum posts and haven’t gotten any luck.
I feel like I’ve been this close to getting it, but it looks as if the whole sprite is spinning faster based on different camera positions. The “stud” itself is a Paper Flipbook component.
Is there a better way to do this? I’ve been stumped on this for a while and I don’t quite have the experience yet with this engine to know how to do this properly.
