So I’ve been working on this landscape material for a little while now. I’m just trying to make a simple two material rock/grass blend. If it turns out well enough I’d like to put together a tutorial on how to make it. Anyway, please let me know what your initial thoughts are and how I might improve it. Thank you.
From what I can see that material looks good. You are avoiding tiling, which is, in my opinion, the biggest problems with materials. If I were you I might consider making it a auto material, but since I don’t know what your setup is I wouldn’t know if that is possible. Anyhow, the material is looking good.
Thanks for the feedback. An auto material sounds like an interesting idea. Maybe down the road when I feel like the material is complete I can work on converting it to an auto material. I’m going for a Scottish highlands kind of look.
