Hi @janzaFin,

I have to admit this offer sounds suspect. You’re asking for a lot, but not offering much.

I reviewed Pearl of the Desert on Steam

I recommend you post your own portfolio/demo link firstly.

Hey,
I’m curious why you think so? We’ve actually built and published 1 games on Steam and 1 game for Vr Arcade markets within a 4-month cycle — they’re mostly developed and funded already by small team of us. Right now, we’re raising additional funds and we also have a large IP deal in our pocket.

This is simply an honest attempt to gather a strong team for what’s ahead. I’m not sure why comments like this belong on this thread, to be honest.

Hi @janzaFin,

There are many scams and I dont mean to be accusatory. I would like to see more info on this IP and what You’re bringing to the table. Developers with the qualifications you seek are most likely developing their own IP.

I’m interested in royalty/revshare projects. but i want to know more on how, when, where the revenue is generated and when it will be paid. I’m not interested in a Revshare based on crowdfunding.

Thanks for your honest message — I appreciate the straightforwardness.

To give you a bit more background: I solo-developed 1 game that are already published on Steam, and we also published another game specifically for the VR arcade markets. It was a great experience, but it also made it clear that bigger games need bigger teams — without that, it’s hard to polish the games to the level customers expect.

That’s exactly why I’m building a real team this time. We’re working with a major IP (under NDA, so unfortunately I can’t post the details publicly), and we’re actively raising funds to properly support the project. I can absolutely share more about salary structures, revenue models, and payment schedules in private discussions with serious candidates.

I thought this forum would be a good place to find motivated developers who want to build something ambitious together.

I’m actually very interested in developing Arcade Games and others within short 6 to 4-month cycle. Those are more appealing to me than working on an “ambitious” Game. Coincidentally, I just posted a Video exactly about this subject. Whats the anticipated development length of this IP?

Hi,

We’re currently building a demo to kick off a bigger project ( get approve from investors). First, a short sprint 2-3 mont to game mechanics, then a six-month sprint to deliver a one-hour game. I have prototype and level design on place but need help on als because we are tweaking it hard.

We’ve published in arcades yes, but post-COVID the market is too weak to fund proper development, so we’re focusing consumer markets now.

I appreciate your rapid responses and more detail. I have to be honest with you, there are things about the project that do not align with my development and financial goals. (I’m not a big fan of giving away equity.)

However, I commend you and congrats on your steam release. I’m trying to get to your level! I’m going to focus on smaller games and shorter dev cycle and publish asset to the marketplace to fund my purchases from the marketplace.

When you’re ready to work on smaller games again let me know. I’m down for that. Thank You Sincerely for your time and I wish you upmost success with this endeavor.
