Was watching Quixel’s video on using the fracture tools to create static assets. The end result is that each submesh has a nice silhouette and fidelty where the concrete has broken off.
When I use the tool, the clusters used for fracturing are pretty simple and create very game-y looking results with hard edges and smoth holes. What’s Quixel doing to get suchnice fidelity? Are they applying noise to the clusters to get a more interesting silhouette? Or displacing the submeshes after the process? Any help is appreciated
