My name is , and I am working on getting my BS degree in video game development and programing at Southern New Hampshire University. I am looking to start working on a project or do an internship with someone. I am only able to due 1 class every 8 weeks due being in the military and am only able to take 1 class at a time. So, I want to keep up with doing projects in unreal and I think this would be a great way to start networking within the community and still be able to work on projects. I have worked with java and python. With python I created a text-based adventure game and with Java I created a webpage for a made-up dog grooming company. I have also worked in photoshop and dabbled in blender. I have created a few projects for school one being a 3rd person shooter game with enemy movement and health that were able to deal damage and explode on impact. As well as the player having health and being able to attack by throwing a chair on fire. It was also multi-level game with portals that took you to the different levels and back if needed be. It also had a title screen with a start game, quit, options, play level 1, and play level 2 buttons. The first levels environment was a town in the mountains with about 7 different style homes. There was also a town square, and the town was filled with trees and rocks. It also had different materials for the grass and walkways and much more. The second level was the inside of a fully developed house. I have also created a couple small projects just playing around with things, but I won’t go into deep detail on those. I am not looking to really get paid I just want the experience and the networking so that when I leave the military, I can be able to sustain for my family. I appreciate your time and considerations.
