I have a scaled up third person character that I’m using as a miniboss in my beat-em-up template. I’m looking for an animation where the character lifts up and chokes or tosses the character (think the Aboboe on Double Dragon).
I’m mainly looking for a free animation as to be license free. Any links are greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hey there @usa423! I’d recommend checking out the “Throw object” mixamo animation. Might not be perfect for your use case however.

I second mixamo.com, they have several throwing animations.

While I have decided to use this animation, I used this one for a picking up off the ground then cut all the other frames.
But what I’m looking for (and will likely have to try making it myself) is one where the UE4 mannequin (which has been scaled so he is like 1.6 times the scale), reaches down and lifts up a normal sized third person character and lifts him up higher than his head, then violently shakes the player then throws the player forward where probably launch character will be used.
I’d definitely recommend custom animations for that if you don’t want a placeholder. I’d personally recommend using Blender to start as it’s got the most tutorials and documentation.
Ahh ok. That is one of the things I like about Blender, just how much free support it has out there, yet I have never tried animations in it. I also downloaded a program called Cascadeur, which actually has a UE4 mannequin template.
Cascadeur is great! I’ve also heard great thinks about Rokoko’s animations, they release some packs for free and they are fantastic.
