When I use Visual Studio to build source code in win 11, I always fail on a CPP file due to a long path problem. In visual studio it says that cpp file could not be found, but it was there not broken. I already enabled long path in registry and group policy and restarted computer for several times. Why is this happening? When I tried to unzip the source code with win 11 unzip option in right click menu, it also fails due to the long path problem. I tried to use 7zip to solve the problem.
What is more confusing, it succeeded once, but after deleting the built source code folder, it never unzip again / build again just because of the long path problem. When I run the setup.bat, there are always three files not being downloaded in the first time, I had to re-run it again to download them. I am not sure if this is relevant, but it is very suspicious.
Hi,
Since it was working before, can you try the following steps?
If does’t work, post here the `VS Output Log`
