London Victoria Line Tube Train in UE5

My plan was to use this for the Moving Meditations pwnisher challenge, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to finish in time. Model and Texture done in Maya and Substance; Lookdev and Light done in Unreal 5. Hope you guys like it!

Greetings @MarcosSilva ! (Hey! I know a guy named Marcos!)

I watched your video several times to see the effect. It’s looks like we’re moving away from the camera, but the center - the focal point, appears to be moving closer to the viewer. What a cool effect!

It’s giving me that moment when you’re dreaming, and you’re trying to get away from something, but you can never move fast enough. It’s as if the dream has slowed down time, and you feel as if you’re treading through ethereal goo that’s slowing and weighing you down.

IMO, “Moving Meditations” is THEE perfect challenge for this project! I’m sorry you didn’t have the chance to finish in time, but we’re happy that you’ve shared your project with us!

Are the flickering reflections purposeful? Did you have to program the moving LED ticker? How long did it take you to complete this project?

this looks great share the project file if you may , well done respect thumbs up keepup the great job

Thanks a lot @Get_DOVAH_it.

Yes, this is called “the vertigo effect”. It is a far easy and super cool effect to do with the camera! :slightly_smiling_face:

But is okay, sometimes is hard to divide us with personal projects and work hahah About the reflections, it was just a tunnel tileable texture that I made and plug it with a panner node to make it move.

To model and texture was about 30 hours. For the lookdev and light was about 10 hours.

thanks a lot @kingpixel!!

yes, I might be able to share it soon. My plan is to use this scene for a few tutorials using Unreal focusing in the vfx workflow.
