Found a few posts about this but could not find a clear solution so making a topic to see if anyone can help me out.
When I import the LOD’s I made for some of my assets they flip 90 degrees on their side, but if I import them as a normal mesh they are fine. Anyone else come across this and know what causes it or what i am doing wrong? I am working in modo and use simplygon for making the LOD’s if that helps any.
Can you post this to AnswerHub in the Bug Reports section. There may be a report already in for this, but I think that was with some modeling applications. From what I recall I was never able to reproduce with 3Ds .
However, please post this and we can look into it further, and if you have steps that reproduce this every time for you please list those as well, along with the modeling application and version your using, and that you’re using UE 4.8.
I had ones the same issue in , however “Reset XForm” sloved my problem but… Reimport Mesh in UE4 didn’t worked so i had to delete the mesh and import it again. I’m not a blender user so i have no idea if the Reset XForm modyfier exist…
