I’d like to have a way to lock an object down to its currently set location and rotation within the editor. I sometimes accidentally click on things and that causes the object to get transformed by a few centimeters and I don’t realize it until I come back later and find that the object transforms have been changed, which introduces unintended seams into my level.
Ideally, there’d be a little lock icon next to the location which defaults to ‘unlocked’. When its unlocked, you can translate the object around in the editor to your hearts content. When the object gets locked however, no translations are applied. Maybe we could even have some sort of icon feedback on the arrows which indicate that one or more currently selected objects won’t move if you try to move them? This is particularly useful if you have multiple objects selected at the same time and you’re trying to translate them.
