Lock Root While AnimOffset When Using "Use Controller Rotation Yaw"

I am trying to twist my character upperbody without turning around when using Controller Rotation Yaw. The reason is because switching that boolean makes your animations jump around pretty badly and I have no idea how to smooth that out. I think there isn’t anything I can do using BP. Does anyone know how to lock the bottom body section while turning around so only the Upperbody rotates in the camera direction? I thought I could lock the root but even though there is a Rotate Root node available there isn’t any Lock Root node which could have been very handy.
