Location of the full log (failed build)

Hello,

Unfortunately I’m no more able to cook my app on the 4.22. I want to read the log, but impossible to find it on my Mac.
The folder Unreal Engine do not exist at the path Users/MyName/Library/Logs/ and the file either UBT-ProjectName-IOS-Development_2.txt

Do you know where I could find the full log of my failed build?

UATHelper: Packaging (iOS): ERROR: UnrealBuildTool failed. See log for more details. (/Users/MyName/Library/Logs/Unreal Engine/LocalBuildLogs/UBT-ProjectName-IOS-Development_2.txt)
UATHelper: Packaging (iOS): (see /Users/MyName/Library/Logs/Unreal Engine/LocalBuildLogs/Log.txt for full exception trace)
PackagingResults: Error: UnrealBuildTool failed. See log for more details. (/Users/MyName/Library/Logs/Unreal Engine/LocalBuildLogs/UBT-ProjectName-IOS-Development_2.txt)
UATHelper: Packaging (iOS): AutomationTool exiting with ExitCode=5 (5)
PackagingResults: Error: Unknown Error

Any help?

Why the Output Log gives me a path that does not exist?

Do you know where I can find more details about the origin of the failure?
*See log for more details. *The path does not exist, the file either.

I have the same issue. It’s pretty annoying

Me too and I don’t know how to fix it on the new 4.22 version on mac os.

It might even happen with Unreal Tournament 4 level editor which supports only outdated Unreal Engine 4.15 version.

Yeah. The genius’s at epic replaced the useful information with meta information.

So your saying 1 package got cooked? And you didn’t think the f***ing Name of the package was as important as counting it. and telling me it comes to 1.

(I suppose they are doing this to check their math. 1551 plus 1 equals 1552, 1106 minus 1 equals 1105. Yep the math checks out. We can Add and Subtract by the number 1 now.)

There was a command line arg that would put the actual log in the log instead of off in some hidden folder but I cant seem to find it.

The original Rant was on UDN and it seems to have been archived.

If anyone finds the command please post it here so it will be public.

On my computer, it looks like the log file is stored at: C:\Epic\UE_5.4\Engine\Programs\UnrealBuildTool.
