Localization strange behaviour

Hi,

I am witnessing a strange localization behaviour:
The english translation shows the ‘Source’ = ‘Create new game’ and ‘Translation’ = ‘Create new game’.
In french it shows ‘Source’ = ‘Create new game’ and ‘Translation’ = ‘Créer nouvelle partie’.

BUT if the key is linked to any text it shows ‘New game’, and previewing any other language EVEN english does not work and only shows ‘New game’ which does not exist in any of the translations!

What does happen here, unreal bug or user error?
At the moment this is the only key which seems to not work at all.

Best regards

Hi,

I do not know if I found myself an answer.
But it seems that the source string was changed at some time and the new source is indeed ‘New game’.
The localization tool did not update correctly, no matter what I tried, but there is a check box inside the loclization dashboard under ‘Compile Text’ named ‘Skip Source Check’.
If I check this to true then the key for new game will translate correctly.

But I do not know if this is correctly fixing the problem or just ‘hides’ it and causes other problems later?!

Best regards
