Local Multiplayer Custom Render depth

still frustrated over this…

I am even using this:

which DOESNT use post process and STILL the player 0 doesnt show the outlines… It is almost like as if for every new player screen created UE shifts the depth render to that screen and doesnt process for the others…

Anybody have any idea? or do I abandon this?

Thanks, I am sold on doing the mesh duplication with owner set. I am still puzzled, however, over why the post process doesn’t work at all on all the player screens and on top of that the turning the pp process on off for each camera as u mention, it still doesn’t show on the correct player camera, sonly shows to the last created player screen in any of the aforementioned scenarios you mentioned works for you, but not for me… Maybe i ticked a check box on something that i shouldn’t have? I am going to start a new project to test n see maybe some setting was activated. ::shrug::

I am really starting to believe it is engine bug. Its built from source. Maybe build got corrupted? VS didnt give me errors on build tho…

Maybe I’ll downgrade =/

Okay. I will download another version. I am using 4.26 Source. I would think a newer version would be more stable, no?

Would I be able to pull all the files from the content folder over into that new project?

Ok I will maybe try to rebuild engine, before i downgrade and have to restart again LOL

WEIRD!! So there DEFINITELY is a bug in 4.26 Source with split screen and Render depth

I just installed 4.25 Binary and it works perfectly…

I am also doing a project settings comparison from 4.25 OOTB and the source build and i found in teh Source build I had ticked “Enable AlphaChannel Support in Post” Not sure if I ticked it or it came ticked, but that was the only change compared to the 4.25 binary. lets see if that was it. If not I am scrapping 4.26 and downgrading…

btw before you downgrade might wanna wait for 4.26.1 chances are it will get fixed, if the change you made doesn’t do it already, consider a different solution for the outline effect.
